Removing Tears From Leather and Vinyl

Tears to leather and vinyl can be caused in a number of ways and it is important to get them treated to ensure that they do not get any worse. Generally a tear will not get any worse if it is left alone but will get larger if you stretch the leather, for example if it is on a leather sofa and you sit on it, over time the tear will grow larger and can become much harder to treat.

Tears can be easily rectified depending on the type of leather it is. It is much easier to repair the surface of protected leather but if the leather is Aniline, Natural or Nubuck the repair is a lot harder to deal with.
