Removing Cat Scratches From Leather

Cat scratches are one of the most difficult repairs to do as generally cats are not really fussed about where or how they sharpen their claws and normally do it with such vigorous intent they puncture the surface leaving tiny holes at the same time. These small holes need a specialist treatment to secure them and stop them re-opening again, which can be very time consuming as each one needs to be treated individually.

What will we do?

Each scratch has to be treated individually to re-shape the surface using a variety of methods. Once the surface has been repaired the area will need to be re-coloured to provide a hard wearing repair that looks and lasts like new.

How long will it take?

A single cat scratch can take between and hour to two hours to repair. If there are multiple cat scratches and holes it can take an additional hour or even two for extensive damage. Repairs are not something that can be rushed so please allow more time if possible.

For this type of repair we would simply need power and enough room to work. For insurance purposes we are unable to undertake repairs on main roads or busy areas. We can also provide a temporary shelter if it is raining in most circumstances.
